At Sprytani Academy, operated by Nova IT, we want every student to feel confident about their decision to invest in their education. We understand that circumstances can change, and this policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted for our IT courses and training programmes.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility depends on the timing of your cancellation request relative to the course start date. The following guidelines apply:
- More than 14 days before the course start date: You are entitled to a full refund of the course fees paid, minus any applicable administrative processing charges.
- Between 7 and 14 days before the course start date: A refund of 50% of the total course fee will be issued. This partial deduction reflects the costs already incurred in preparing materials and reserving your place.
- Less than 7 days before the course start date: No refund will be issued. However, you may transfer your enrolment to the next available intake of the same course at no additional charge, subject to availability.
- After the course has commenced: Refunds are generally not available once a course is underway. In exceptional circumstances — such as a documented medical emergency or relocation — requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Sprytani Academy management.
2. Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Send a written refund request to [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" followed by your full name.
- Include the following details in your email: your full name as registered, the course name and intake date, your enrolment or invoice reference number, and the reason for your cancellation.
- Our administration team will acknowledge receipt of your request within two business days and will review your case against the eligibility criteria outlined above.
- You will receive a written response confirming whether your refund has been approved, partially approved, or declined, along with a clear explanation of the decision.
3. Timeframes
Once a refund has been approved, please allow the following processing periods:
- Bank transfers: Refunds processed via bank transfer will be credited to your original account within 7 to 14 business days from the date of approval.
- Credit or debit card payments: Refunds to credit or debit cards typically take 10 to 21 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer's processing schedule.
- Online payment gateways: Refunds through third-party gateways are subject to the processing timelines of the respective provider, which can range from 7 to 30 business days.
Sprytani Academy is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card networks, or third-party payment processors. If you have not received your refund within the timeframes stated above, we recommend contacting your financial institution before reaching out to us.
4. Exceptions
The following situations are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- No-shows: Students who fail to attend a course without providing prior written notice of cancellation are not entitled to a refund or transfer.
- Promotional or discounted enrolments: Courses purchased at a special promotional rate, through scholarship programmes, or as part of a bundled package are non-refundable unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.
- Digital resources and downloadable materials: Any supplementary materials, e-books, or digital tools that have been accessed or downloaded as part of a course enrolment are non-refundable.
- Course cancellation by the academy: If Sprytani Academy cancels a course for operational reasons, all enrolled students will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative course of equal value. This is not subject to the deductions described in the eligibility section.
