Terms and Conditions

Last updated: January 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Sprytani Academy website, enrolling in any programme, or otherwise engaging with our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you are enrolling a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and accept these terms on their behalf. Continued use of our services following any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Services

Sprytani Academy Sdn Bhd ("we", "us", or "the Academy") operates an IT education academy based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We deliver instructor-led courses, workshops, holiday tech camps, and blended-learning programmes across disciplines including software development, cybersecurity, data science, UX/UI design, and graphic design. Programmes are offered for adults and children, in both physical classroom and online formats, as described on our website at the time of enrolment.

3. Enrolment and Registration

Enrolment is considered confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or an approved instalment arrangement and our written confirmation via email. We reserve the right to decline any registration at our sole discretion, including where a programme has reached maximum capacity or where the applicant does not meet the stated prerequisites. Information provided during registration must be accurate and complete; you are responsible for updating us promptly should any details change.

4. Fees and Payment

All course fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment must be made in full prior to the programme start date unless an instalment plan has been expressly agreed in writing. Where instalment arrangements are approved, you must adhere to the agreed schedule; failure to make a scheduled payment may result in suspension of access to course materials and classes until the outstanding balance is settled. The Academy reserves the right to revise fees for future intakes, though any change will not affect enrolments already confirmed at the previous rate.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Participants may cancel their enrolment in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy. The Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any programme due to insufficient enrolment, instructor unavailability, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In the event that we cancel a programme, enrolled participants will be offered the choice of a full refund or transfer to an alternative intake at no additional cost.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials, curricula, slide decks, code samples, recordings, and any other content provided by Sprytani Academy are the exclusive intellectual property of the Academy or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, personal licence to use these materials solely for your own educational purposes. Reproduction, redistribution, sale, or public display of any Academy materials, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited and may constitute an infringement of Malaysian intellectual property law.

7. Code of Conduct

All participants, whether attending in person or online, are expected to maintain a respectful and professional learning environment. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behaviour, academic dishonesty, and any form of misconduct are not tolerated. The Academy may, at its discretion, remove any participant who violates this code of conduct without entitlement to a refund. In classes involving minors, additional safeguarding protocols apply, and participants must comply with all instructions issued by Academy staff.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, the Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or connected with your enrolment or participation in any programme. Our total liability for any direct claim shall not exceed the amount of fees you have paid to the Academy for the specific programme giving rise to the claim. We do not guarantee specific employment outcomes, certifications from third parties, or career advancement as a result of completing any programme.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia for the resolution of any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any disagreement or dispute relating to these terms or your participation in an Academy programme, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached within thirty (30) days of written notice of the dispute, either party may refer the matter to mediation administered under the rules of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in Kuala Lumpur. Should mediation fail, the dispute shall be resolved by the courts of Malaysia as set out above.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised terms on our website with an updated "Last updated" date. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Where a change materially affects an ongoing enrolment, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected participants by email.
