Graphic Design with AI
The design industry is changing fast. Designers who combine strong visual fundamentals with AI-powered workflows are producing better work in less time and commanding higher rates. This 8-month program gives you both sides of that equation.
Program Overview
AI is not replacing graphic designers. It is replacing graphic designers who refuse to adapt. The most exciting creative work being done today happens at the intersection of human taste and machine capability, where designers use AI to generate variations, explore concepts faster, and handle repetitive production tasks so they can focus on the strategic and conceptual work that only humans do well. This program positions you squarely at that intersection.
You will spend the first months building a rock-solid foundation in visual design: composition, typography, colour theory, and the Adobe Creative Suite tools that remain the backbone of professional design work. Once those fundamentals are in place, you will learn to integrate AI tools into your creative process, using generative AI for ideation, image manipulation, pattern creation, and rapid prototyping. The result is a designer who works faster without sacrificing craft, and who can deliver a range of outputs from brand identity systems to social media campaigns to print collateral.

Who This Program Is For
Aspiring Creatives
You have always had a visual sensibility. Maybe you rearrange furniture compulsively, notice bad kerning on restaurant menus, or spend hours on Pinterest. You know design interests you, but you have never had formal training. This program gives you the technical skills and professional framework to turn that interest into a career.
Self-Taught Designers Wanting Structure
You have been doing design work using Canva, free tools, or sheer determination, but you know there are gaps in your knowledge. You want to master the industry-standard tools, understand the theory behind what looks good, and produce work that meets professional standards consistently rather than occasionally.
Marketing and Communications Professionals
You work in a role that requires visual content, whether it is social media management, content marketing, or corporate communications. You currently rely on templates or outsource design work, and you want the ability to create polished visual assets yourself while managing external designers more effectively.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the AI component work alongside traditional design training?
The first four months focus entirely on traditional design fundamentals and Adobe tools. We believe you need to understand design principles deeply before adding AI to your workflow, otherwise you cannot evaluate whether what the AI generates is actually good. The AI modules begin in month five and are integrated into projects for the remainder of the program. You will learn to use AI as a tool within a design process you already understand, not as a replacement for design thinking.
Do I need to own Adobe Creative Cloud before starting?
No. Sprytani provides Adobe Creative Cloud licences to all enrolled students for the duration of the program. You will also have access to our campus workstations which are equipped with calibrated displays, drawing tablets, and all required software. If you prefer to work on your own laptop, we recommend a machine with at least 16 GB of RAM and a dedicated graphics processor for a smooth experience.
What career opportunities are available after graduating?
Graduates pursue roles including graphic designer, brand designer, visual designer, social media designer, and junior art director at agencies, in-house creative teams, and startups. Several alumni have also launched freelance practices, serving clients across Malaysia and internationally. The combination of traditional skills and AI fluency makes our graduates particularly attractive to employers who want designers capable of working efficiently at scale without compromising quality.
